I was born in London in 1935. Educated in Tottenham I left school in 1951 to train as a commercial artist – a career I pursued for the next forty years.
In 1991 I was accepted as a mature student for a degree course in Fine Art at the Norwich School of Art.
I have been a practicing artist now for over sixty years. I specialise in life-drawing and portraiture. For many years I helped run the life drawing workshop at Wensum Lodge. I paint in acrylics, oils and pastel.
Why do I make art? I wish I knew.
